Hi all... welcome to canoe polo for 2012!

Time to get back into a polo boat and work off those festive dinners!

League 1 starts with registration night at 7.30 on 30 Jan, then we have a week off for Waitangi day on 6 Feb, then we're into the league proper on 13 Feb. The league runs until 7 May with one more week off in the middle for Easter, on 9 April.

Registration night is a great chance to get back in a boat or get your mates who haven't been in one to give it a go. There will be a chance to learn how to 'wet exit', ie get out of the boat safely. There will also be informal games and likely some space to learn to roll if people are keen for that. Let us know if you or your mates are new to the sport and we'll make sure you're looked after! We have full sets of club gear available.

Thanks all for another fun league! Well done to the Crazy Crays who took out C grade (only fair given that they're been donating players to Yak!) and have come a long way this year! Unfortunately most of the Onslow-ites were at school camps, hence the defaults there. VUCC beat Kupe SNAGS in the battle of the whitewater clubs and Lee's team edged Moreno's out to win the A grade in golden goal extra time. Hope to see you all back next year!
